GTA3: What It Isn't
In this Joystick101 thread, I have tried to make the point that there is no grand ethnic subtext in Grand Theft Auto 3. The spectres that others are seeing here and there seem like just so many conspiracy theories. Few people would buy into The Godfather if it didn't have recognizably Italian gangsters. LIkewise, it would be tough to sell a game about criminals that didn't at least give the player some recognizable icons.
Maybe I'm just blind to what is really going on but I just had to speak out what seemed to me to be a rash of political correctness.
