We've adopted new philosophies at LucasArts which, frankly, the whole industry should adopt. We make kick-ass games, but on time and on budget. Failure on any one of those three points is failure for the project. This must be a great consolation to all the Star Wars: Galaxies players, especially those playing the cancelled Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions. And a relief to those who bought delayed PC game, only to have it dramatically morphed into a different "kick-ass" game 2.5 years later. Or maybe he's just admitting SW:G is/was a failure?

THAT ARE ALL VARIATIONS UPON THE DAMNABLE THEME OF STAR WARS, YOU FOOL!!
I wonder how they justify killing projects that go a little over budget or time. They seem awfully willing to throw all that cash away....

Galaxies is all SOE's fault. LucasArts is not really that involved with it.
